Commission Process

Choose the size and the type of background you would like, and email me photos of your pet. For best results, send me high resolution jpgs or png files. I can scan your photographs, if needed. Feel free to email me questions regarding your order.

If do not have clear images of your pet and if you live in the Kansas City area, I would be happy to photograph your pet for a $50 sitting fee. In addition to the painting, you will receive jpgs of the photographs I take. I will retain copyright of the images, but you may print them for personal use.

I will crop the best image to indicate the placement of your pet on the canvas and email it back to you. Once a crop is approved, I will send you an invoice for a %50 deposit through PayPal before I begin painting.

Once your portrait is nearing completion, I will send you a jpg of the painting. Upon approval I will invoice the balance through PayPal and ship your painting to you.

I love to make my clients happy. I will work on your painting until you are satisfied with the results. If I can’t use your photos to produce a quality portrait, I will let you know, and we can discuss options.

Turnaround time is dependent upon my workload.

BASE PRICE

Portraits are painted in acrylic on 1.5 inch thick, gallery wrapped canvas. I wrap the image around the edges. No framing is needed. Inform me at the time you place your order if you want to frame your portrait, and I will use standard profile canvas that is more suitable for framing.

EACH ADDITIONAL PET

Add 30 percent to the base price for each additional pet on the same canvas. Two pets are not recommended for canvases smaller than 12 x 12.

REFERENCE PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICE

Not included in the base price. I ship paintings via FedEx Ground.
